About the MSCA: MSCA/Salem Chapter


The Salem Chapter of the Massachusetts State College Association is the faculty and librarian union at Salem State University. The purpose of the Salem Chapter/MSCA is to administer the terms of contractual agreements between the MSCA and the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education. In addition, it deliberates and promulgates the views of the membership regarding academic and professional matters.

Membership includes over 325 full-time faculty and librarians and over 250 part-time faculty in both the regular and continuing education programs of Salem State University. The Salem Chapter/MSCA is affiliated with the Massachusetts Teachers Association and the National Education Association.
